Three main concepts are highlighted to achieve increased accessibility and a more interconnected centre:

1) Cross axes: Establish cross connections between the center and the sea which shorten distances and connect the center to the harbour.

2) Harbor route: Establish a continuous harbor route to activate and make the sea line available.

3) Diagonal route: Establish a continuous walkway, the Diagonal, which lies parallel to the harbor route and which connects the upper part of the city centre.

In the project, we have worked from a sustainability strategy with a focus on re-use, joint use and sharing, so that the development of the center can be carried out in a resource-saving and environmentally friendly way that promotes local processes and value circles.

The project is a collaboration with KALEIDOSCOP Nordic.
